I've already covered a multitude of names after picking apart a trailer the social media team put up but thanks to a tiny little slip by whoever manages the Youtube channel, a thumbnail for a future show has shown us a couple of names to add to the list.
On the left, we can see former Liverpool, Real Madrid, Newcastle United and Manchester United player Michael Owen. The man who scored THAT goal against Argentina in 1998. Alongside him is Kimberly Wyatt, the second former Pussycat Doll to take on the challenge after Ashley Roberts last year. In the middle is someone who I have no idea about but I'm going to take a wild swing at him being from a reality show, probably Love Island. (Thanks to Danker1990, it's Kem from Love Island) Bringing up the rear are two names we've already established: Radio 1 DJ (who always sounds surprised with himself) Matt Edmondson and finally the lovely Debbie McGee. Not my word, simply the often-repeated line by her late husband, magic icon Paul Daniels.
So here's the up to date list, there are a few more names than last time, I had another good look:

EDIT: I've since discovered we can add Jordan Banjo (another dancer) to the Laura Whitmore team. And I was wrong about one at least. Replace Kem with Chris Hughes. Also of Love Island. Yeah, Love Islanders are all pretty interchangeable really.

ReplyDeleteI've been trying to match names to faces on that YouTube video from the previous blog post. I could see the second six teams (I think they are not showing the Christmas team) and thanks to recognition and the above list, I could sort of see at least a couple people from each team. There were some people who I couldn't distinguish where they were in the video (Faye Tozer, Richard Blackwood). If it's no bother, is it OK to group the above Celebs with which team they are with, so I know where to look

ReplyDeletei expect the planets will be one along with jarhead. The candle one feels has the tiniest connection so there is 3. maybe the jigsaw slider & one of the water game from aztec.
