Meet Next Week's (26th July) Celebrity Crystal Maze Contestants

Alas, it's that time again, next week sees the last in the current run of The Crystal Maze before it takes a break. Fear not however as it's not the end of this year's series, it will be back later in the Autumn and again at Christmas. If you struggle between now and then, there's always TCM's sister show Fort Boyard. So for now, let's meet 5 more faces you probably can't place.


Steve Pemberton

Pemberton is easily best known for his dark comedy work as part of 'The League of Gentleman' alongside Reece Shearsmith, Mark Gatiss and Jeremy Dyson. He's also written and acted alongside Shearsmith on the shows 'Psychoville' and 'Inside No.9' and has acted on shows such as 'Benidorm' and 'Good Omens'. He may be familiar to fans of Doctor Who from the 'Silence in the Library/Forest of the Dead' two-parter and won a BAFTA this year for his onscreen work in 'Inside No.9'

Oti Mabuse

Another star with a Strictly Come Dancing link, like AJ Pritchard, Mabuse is one of the professional dancers on the show. She's been a pro on strictly for the last 4 series and on her 2 most recent series, she was partnered with previous TCM contestants Jonnie Peacock and Graeme Swann. She has also been a contestant on celebrity Tipping Point, the regular version of which films right next door to TCM. You have to walk past Tipping Point to get to the canteen.

Jack Fincham

Another contestant moving from Love Island to the maze, Fincham became known for starting and later ending a relationship with Dani Dyer, the daughter of Eastenders and straight to DVD actor Danny Dyer. The two won the 2018 series of the show together. Jack and Dani, not Jack and Danny, that's a whole different show. Danny Dyer can soon be seen hosting the UK version of US game show 'The Wall', it'll be that longest he goes on TV without swearing, probably thanks to a lot of editing work.

Anna Richardson

The host of Channel 4's nude dating show 'Naked Attraction', Richardson has been a regular face on TV since a stint on The Big Breakfast in the 90's. She's fronted several programs for Channel 4 including 'The Sex Education Show', 'Secret Eaters' and 'Supershoppers'. However, she is best known for 'Naked Attraction', where people try to find a prospective partner based purely on their appearance fully naked. And no I'm not using a clip from that.

Russell Kane

Comedian Russell Kane has been a regular face in stand up since the early 00's. Seen on panel shows such as 'Virtually Famous', 'Mock The Week' and 'Go 8 Bit', he's also carved a career as a celebrity contestant on shows like 'Celebrity Antiques Road Trip', 'Tipping Point Lucky Stars', 'Impossible Celebrities' and 'Len Goodman's Partners in Rhyme'.
