Hope everyone's coping well. It's been 3 weeks of this weirdness and hopefully we're at least past the halfway point, maybe.
There's not been much TCM-related stuff to mention lately, given the circumstances, but our best goes out to Phoebe Scholfield on the passing of her husband, actor Jay Benedict, in relation to the present situation.
Phoebe had a role as a one-time sleeping princess from the first series of TCM. Other times this game was used, the role was played by Karen Heyworth. Phoebe's husband Jay may be best recognised as Newt's father from 'Aliens'
All of us at the blog send our best, our thoughts are with her and the rest of his family.
Elsewhere, I've compiled a few more playlists to while away the hours. I keep finding myself watching US news videos and as good a comedy as it is, watching the orange one do his 'work', I think this lot should do a far better job:-
Shooting Stars
Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer bring you everybody's favourite nonsensical showbiz quiz.
Crime Traveller
Chloe Annett and Michael French using timne travel to solves crimes. The clues in the name really. It lasted one series on BBC One and was forgotten about despite being well received.
Interceptor
From the people that would later bring us TCM, 'Interceptor' combined orienteering, helicopters, IR blasters, and the former UK No.1 Ladies tennis player.
So What Now
Another forgotten single series BBC One show, So What Now took Lee Evans from stage to sitcom.
