Who Are Next Week's (December 3rd) Crystal Maze Contestants?

I hope we've all been enjoying the extra few episodes we've been treated to on E4 over the last couple of weeks. They've certainly generated reactions online widely ranging between annoyance and sheer rage.. However it's now that time again where there's going to be celebrity Crystal Maze on the telly, someone inevitably reads that it's a celebrity special, sees a name and asks "Who's that?". Well, allow me to try and fill in some blanks.

Laura Whitmore

Laura is a TV host who started her career with MTV Ireland in 2008. Then from 2011 she appeared on-screen on the other side of the Irish Sea hosting the "I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here!" ITV2 aftershow "I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! NOW!" continuing in that job until 2016.

In 2016 she took part in the BBC series, Strictly Come Dancing. She was the sixth contestant eliminated losing in a dance off to eventual winner, and former Crystal Maze contestant, Ore Oduba.

She can currently be seen as a team captain on Celebrity Juice opposite Emily Atack on ITV2.

Chris Ramsey

Chris is a comedian, TV host and podcaster from the North East of England (the best quarter of England). Like Laura, Chris also has a past involving hosting I'm a Celeb aftershows and taking part in Strictly. Chris took part in 2019 and made it to the semi-final before finishing fourth.

Chris also starred in the sitcom 'Hebburn' written by Jason Cook and starring former TCM contestant Vic Reeves, Jason Cook and Steffen Peddie. I saw his mates Jason and Steffen at a local tiny comedy club a couple of years ago and the Chris Ramsey jokes weren't unnoticeable.

Chris currently hosts 'Little Mix: The Search' on BBC One and has a weekly, award-winning, podcast "Shagged Married Annoyed" with his wife Rosie Winter.

Perri Kiely

Perri, or as some may know him "the small one from Diversity with the hair" is a member of 'Britain's Got Talent' winning dance troupe Diversity.

He's got a track record of success with celebrity contests. He won the second series of ITV's diving show 'Splash!' and finished second in the 2020 series of Dancing on Ice.

He can currently be heard on the KISS breakfast show alongside fellow Diversity member Jordan Banjo.

Jordan Banjo

Perri's KISS breakfast co-host and Diversity member Jordan Banjo have a good little double act going when it comes to TV. They co-hosted Jordan and Perri's Ultimate Block Party together as well as the Nickelodeon UK Kids Choice awards in 2014, '15 and '16. In 2016 Jordan took part in 'I'm a Celebrity...' and was the fourth celeb to leave the show.

As mentioned, he currently hosts the KISS breakfast show with Perri.

Gareth Thomas

Gareth Thomas is a former rugby player who played between 1994 and 2010, and represented Wales in both Rugby League and Rugby Union. He moved from Union to League in Spring 2010 before retiring from the game altogether in 2011.

In 2012, Thomas finished 3rd in Celebrity Big Brother before taking part in Dancing On Ice later that year. He dropped out after week 8 after suffering motion sickness while practising a routine. Ice skating, not a sport to be getting dizzy and risking collapse in when there's blades on your feet.

The show airs at 10pm on Thursday 3rd December on Channel 4. And all episodes of this series will be available to watch on All4 that same night to binge.
